Dayshawn Watkins had a change of heart late in the summer and decided to enroll instead at Holmes Community College in Goodman, MS this season.
Watkins, a point guard, had signed with UAB last season after playing on the AAU circuit

with the Arkansas Wings.
Watkins never received a scholarship release from the Blazers and decided to head to the
junior college route.
"Dayshawn is a very good floor leader who can get into the gaps and penetrate-kick the ball
the very well. He needs to keep it simple at times on the offensive end of the floor" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Watkins informed JucoJunction he has heard interest from West Virginia, Memphis, Murray State and Arkansas.
