Marcus Tarrance helped Eastern Oklahoma State College to a 32-5 record last season and a berth in the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, Kan. Tarrance had planned on moving onto South Carolina State University but later had a change of plans.

Tarrance will suit up next fall for Middle Tennessee State University. Tarrance will have two seasons to play for MTSU.
Tarrance is taking classes this season back in Memphis, Tenn. at a local community college. Tarrance averaged 18 points and 3.7 assists last season for the Pioneers. He was named Region 2 Player of the Year for his efforts.
Tarrance will join the the Blue Raiders next fall.
