Plenty more action from the Lone Star State

Junior College players are signing left and right and JucoJunction is trying to do its best on keeping up with all the action. Three more junior college signings from the Lone Star State happened recently. JucoJunction has the latest on these three players in this article.
Sammy Yeager won't have to travel to far next season to play college ball. Yeager will play at Texas Christian University down the road in Fort Worth, TX according to Weatherford College head coach Dave Donnelly. Yeager started his college at Modesto Junior College in California. Yeager signed with San Diego out of high school in California. Yeager averaged 21.6 ppg and 6 rebounds this season for the Coyotes while hitting on 55% from the floor. Yeager averaged 24 ppg and 7.1 rebounds as a freshman at Modesto Junior College.

Marcus Brister led his team Eastfield College from Mesquite, TX to a great season. Brister, a former Division One player at Iowa State University, will play at Southeast Missouri State next season in the Ohio Valley Conference. Brister averaged 17.5 ppg and 7.5 assists this past season for Eastfield College. Brister is a third-year player who attended Weatherford College during the 2008-2009 season.
Deremy Geiger is back to Division One ball next year after completing the season at Grayson County Community College in Denison, TX. Geiger averaged 18.5 ppg this season at Grayson County. Geiger, a transfer from Utah State, will play at the University of Idaho next season for Vandals Head Coach Don Verlin. Geiger led Grayson County to a 22-9 season this year.
