Plenty of interest

Northwest Florida State College Head Coach Steve DeMeo was not in St Louis, MO this past weekend at Jerry Mullen's JUCO Camp but I'm sure his phone is burning up from plenty of college coaches calling.
DeMeo a former assistant coach at Hofstra and Providence was recently hired by the Raiders and arrived in Niceville, FL today for his new job. DeMeo will be able to see his new team play this coming weekend at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, FL for the NJCAA Southeast Jamboree hosted by Rick Ball.

The Raiders brought Stephen Hurt and Vinnie Zollo to St Louis, MO this past weekend. Both former division one players will see plenty of interest in the recruiting circuit this summer and fall.
Hurt, a third year player transferred in from Lipscomb University where he averaged 11.5 ppg and 7.8 rebounds this past season and was named Atlantic-Sun Freshman of the Year.
Zollo, a Winchester, KY native, is also a third year player who was at Western Kentucky University in the past.
The Raiders have plenty of more players in the mix and JucoJunction will take a look at them in the future. Read more about all the latest in junior college basketball recruiting news all season long right here for just $9.95 a month.
