New Mexico Junior College Head Coach James Miller informed JucoJunction today that Desmond Lee has recently picked up a few more scholarship offers for next season.

The shooting guard has been offered by Baylor and the University of Illinois according to Miller.
The Norfolk, Vir., native signed with UTEP out of Heat Academy in Martinsville, Vir.
Lee never reported to UTEP and stayed at home that season before landing at New Mexico Junior College as a freshman last season.
Creighton, UNLV, Arkansas, Miami (FL), Auburn all have offered Lee a scholarship for next season.
Lee took two official visits back in the fall to Colorado State University and Duquesne.
Lee is currently averaging 22.4 points per game (5th best in NJCAA D1 scoring leaders) this season. He has connected 46 percent (136-293) floor while hitting 38 percent (47-123) from beyond the arc. Lee has hit 80 percent (129-262) of his free throws this season. Lee has scored 847 career points for the T-Birds.
Lee is ranked No. 29 in the 2013 JucoJunction Top 150. The T-Birds are 19-3 this season under first year head coach Miller.
