Plenty of size

Neosho County Community College located in Chanute, Kan. will look to improve on its 16-15 from a season ago. Panthers head coach Jeremy Coombs will have plenty of size up front in Chris Patton and Slim Magee.

Patton, a transfer from the College of Southern Idaho, hails from Australia. "A lot of schools don't know Chris is here at Neosho County. The word is just getting out on him," said Coombs.
"Chris is a big bodied guy with great hands in the post and doesn't mind playing with contact," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. South Alabama and Long Beach State were mentioned early with Patton according to Coombs.
Magee is a third year player from the Big Easy of New Orleans, La. Magee averaged 9.3 points, 8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game last season while shooting 57 percent (105-184) from the floor. "Slim is ultra thin post player that can face-up on the floor but really excels in the transition game," said Swanson.
These two players are just a few pieces in order for the Panthers to make a run in the Jayhawk Conference East Division.
