Plenty of suitors

Brandon Brown has been a very steady force for the past two seasons at Phoenix College in Arizona. The Bears are currently ranked in the NJCAA Top 10 and 22-5 on the season. The Bears won the NJCAA D2 National Championship last season over Essex County College (NJ) 71-67 in Danville, IL.
The Bears are trying to get back to Danville, IL this coming March and Brown is looking to lead the them there. Brown, a point guard, is currently averaging 23.3 ppg, 5.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds this season for the Bears.

Brown has connected 45% (205-460) from the floor and 41% (32-79) from the three point range.
Brown was named MVP of the National Tourney last season. Brown scored 41 points this season against conference foe Glendale Community College.
Kansas State, Loyola Marymount, St Mary's, San Diego, Drake, Portland State, Montana State, Utah State and Memphis have all contacted Brown this spring according to Bears Head Coach Matt Gordon.
Brown served 2 1/2 years in jail and is currently 23 years old according to Gordon. Brown has no clock issues and is on track to graduate this spring. Brown is a great story and just shows you can fight through adversity.
Brown maintains 3.4 GPA in the classroom according to Gordon.
