Plenty of suitors

Dewayne Benjamin had a bit of a coming out party last month in St Louis, MO at the Mullen's Top 100 Camp. Benjamin had signed with Baton Rouge Community College according to the NJCAA website but decided to return back to Mount San Jacinto College in Hemet, CA this fall.
Benjamin started back in classes last weekend according to head coach Patrick Springer.

Benjamin, a small forward, averaged 16.2 ppg and 7.5 rebounds last season. Benjamin hails
from Lafayette, LA where he attended Northside High School.
While in high school Benjamin signed with UTEP but failed to qualify academically.
This summer Benjamin has received interest from Oregon, Florida State, Cincinnati, Washington State, Hawaii, Western Kentucky, Wichita State and Gonzaga according to Springer.
"Dewayne had a great showing last month and his recruitment has really taken off since then" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
