Polk Community College starts its second semester today with a classic at home. We had the chance to touch base with head coach Matt Furjanic on his four sophomores

"He's a intimidating defensive player," Furjanic said. "He just didn't play much last year at
Houston."
Brandon Streeter (SO) 6 foot 0 (170) from Haines City, FL is a scoring guard. Streeter was at Sam Houston State back in 2004-2005 and sat out last year.
"Brandon's our horse, our leader," Furjanic said. "He has done everything we have asked him to do for us this season."
Streeter is at 19.5 points per game on the season and shooting 85% from the foul line. According to Furjanic, Streeter will graduate on time and Appalachian State, Maine, New
Hampshire, Florida Southern and Lynn (FL) are calling on him.
Djero Riedewald, (SO) 6 foot 8 (205) from Holland.
"Djero is a faceup -finesse 4 man," said the coach.
Riedewald is a third year player and will need 60% towards graduation. He sat out the 2004-2005 season at Polk CC. Niagara and Chaminade-Hawaii have called on him . Djero is at 10.5 points and 6.5 rebounds this season so far.
Terrell Elliston, (SO) 6 foot 0 (175) from Bronx, NY.
"Terrell is a strong, tough point guard that takes charge," Furjanic stated.
He's averaging 7.5 points per game this season and is getting some D2 interest.
