Prospect updates from Lon Morris

The Lon Morris College Bearcats finished the season at 26-6 this past season and won the Region XIV Championship before falling in the post season. Bearcats assistant coach Rick Dotson informed JucoJunction what's going on with some of his players' recruitment. Get the latest in this story.
Ridas Pulkauninkas, (SO) 6-foot-6 (190), has decided he will attend Mercer University in Macon, GA next season according to coach Dotson. Ridas visited the Atlantic Sun Conference school back in mid-March and liked what he saw. Ridas averaged 13.2 ppg this past season for the Bearcats. Pulkauninkas heard from Stephen F. Austin and Albany in the recruiting process this past spring. Ridas scored over 700 points in two seasons at the Jacksonville,TX school.

Benito Santiago Jr,(SO) 6-foot-6 (200) from Puerto Rico, is the son of former major league baseball catcher Benito Santiago and is currently playing baseball this spring for the Bearcats baseball team. Santiago averaged 10.5 ppg this past season for the Bearcats. Benito played his freshman season at Miami-Dade College. Santiago is currently hearing from St. Francis (NY) and Evansville according to coach Dotson. Santiago is currently not concentrating on taking any visits as he is playing baseball.
Konner Tucker, (FR) 6-foot-4 from Fort Worth, TX, will be taking an official visit this weekend to ACC school Wake Forest according to coach Dotson. Tucker, who had committed to the University of Kentucky a few weeks back, is now on the market after John Calpieri landed the job at UK. Tucker is receiving interest from Oklahoma State,Cincinnati and Wichita State this spring according to coach Dotson. Tucker averaged 16.2 ppg and 3 rebounds while shooting 42% (73-172) from three-point range for the Bearcats this season. Tucker will have three years to play as he was an academic qualifier coming out of high school.
