Randy Pulley, a strong 6-2, 205 pound point guard from Barton County C.C. in Great Bend, Kan., is looking at roughly 10 schools this spring.
JUCO Junction caught up with Barton County Head Coach Ryan Wolf on Thursday night, and he gave us the run down on Pulley.
Charlotte, East Carolina, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Louisiana Tech, Texas, Missouri, UNLV and Texas A&M were the schools mentioned by Wolf.
No visits have been set up yet by Pulley, Wolf said. A determination on visits will probably be made sometime after the Final Four next weekend.
Of course, the coaching carousel will likely be in full force at the Final Four, with coaches filling vacancies at a number of programs throughout the country. That could certainly impact some of the schools on Pulley's list.
Pulley, a native of Raleigh, N.C., earned second team all-Jayhawk West Conference honors this season after averaging 12.8 points and 6.1 assists per game.
Pulley is very strong with the basketball and can create via dribble penetration. He spent his freshman year at St. Louis University of Conference USA prior to transferring into Barton County.
We'll keep you posted on Pulley's situation as the signing period approaches. Stay tuned.
