Quayle leads the way at Western Wyoming

The Western Wyoming Community College Mustangs are currently (19-3) on the season under first year head coach Trace Bevell. Bevell came back to the junior college ranks this season after working the past few years at a high school in the Salt Lake City, UT area. Bevell worked at McCook Community College and Western Nebraska Community College in the past.
The Mustangs are led by 22 year old sophomore Jared Quayle. Quayle played at the College of Eastern Utah back in the 2003-2004 season before going on a Mormon Mission for two years. Jared returned to school this season and is currently averaging 25.1 ppg, 7.6 rrebounds, 3.1 assists while shooting 53.6% (163-304) from the floor and 50.5% (43-85) from three-point range.

Quayle, (SO) 6-foot-2, hails from Perry, UT. He has received offers from Weber State and Louisiana Tech. Hawaii and BYU has also been in contact with the two guard this season.
"If Jared was 6'4 he would receive more interest. He can really score the ball in bunches," said Bevell.
Jared has scored 47 points versus College of Eastern Utah and burned Snow College for 45 points this season.
"Jared leads our team in every stat possible," said Bevell.
JucoJunction will follow Quayle and his recruitment throughout the rest of the season.
