Chudier Pal and Valentino Thomas both transferred into Roane State Community College in Tennessee. Pal, a third year player, played limited minutes last season at UNC-Asheville. Pal a native of Kenya, Africa via Australia averaged 1.5 points for the Bulldogs in 8 games last season.
"Pal really has a great frame and has a nice soft touch around the basket," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Thomas played last season at Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Tex. "Valentino is one of the biggest sleepers out there that I saw this past October" said Swanson. Thomas is a native of Charlotte, N.C. and played his high school basketball at Victory Christian.
"Valentino really has the ability to stalk the baseline with his quickness. Valentino took four charges today in one game I watched him play," said Swanson.
