Rebels recruitment

Swanny's Roundball Review has taken in all 16 years of this event and it only seems to get better and better year after year. The Hill College Rebels finished last year at 32-4 and in 3rd place at the NJCAA National Tourney.
Jemerrio Jones and Devocio Butler both return to the Rebels lineup this season after playing quality minutes as freshman.

Jones and Butler both took official visits to Mercer University a few weeks back according to Rebels Head Coach Swede Trenkle.
Jones, a Memphis, TN native averaged 13.4 ppg, 13.3 rebounds and 6.9 assists last season for the Rebels. Jones shot 49% (194-390) from the floor last season.
Butler averaged 10.8 ppg and 3.9 rebounds last season while shooting 48% (133-275) from the floor. Butler will visit Colorado State University this coming weekend.
Point guard Rachaun Martin comes to Hillsboro, TX this season after attending State Fair Community College (MO) last season for a semester. Martin can really set the table from the point guard position. Martin is a Dayton, OH resident.
The Rebels should be a strong contender in Region 5 this season. Stay tuned here for the action all season long.
