Region 2 notes
The Oklahoma Region had some solid action yesterday according to good friend Brad Franz.
Arkansas Baptist started the day off with a upset over Northern Oklahoma Tonkawa 85-68.

Sophomore guard Fred Albright led the way with 23 points. Kevin Kuteyi led the Mavericks in defeat with 15 points.
#3 seeded Redlands Community College knocked off Murray State College 84-71. The Cougars were led in scoring by sophomore Dane Pannell with 20 points. The Cougars move onto a semifinals matchup with Arkansas Baptist.
The Cougars improve to 23-8 on the season.
Northeastern Oklahoma A&M held off a feisty group from Northern Oklahoma Enid 98-96 in
overtime. The Golden Norse were led in scoring by Shawn Nottingham and Shay'rone Jett with 19 points a piece.
Top seeded Connors State crushed Seminole State 85-55. The Cowboys improved to 29-1 on the
season and will play Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in the semifinals.
Ronnie Boyce led the Cowboys with 22 points.
Action will continue throughout the week in Shawnee, OK on the campus of St Gregory's University.
