Region 24 happenings

Playing in Region 24 players see some stiff competition every night. This season seems to be no different and recently two players decided to end there recruitment. Read more about these players right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news JucoJunction.
"Jordan Coleman will attend Valparaiso University next season," said Southwestern Illinois College Head Coach Jay Harrington. Coleman started his college career at the University of Hawaii before landing in Belleville, Ill.

Coleman is ranked No. 116 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. He averaged 10.2 points, 3 rebounds and 3.1 assists this season for the Blue Storm. The Blue Storm finished the year at 21-9.
John A Logan College Assistant Coach Zach Carpenter informed JucoJunction that Xavier Jones has signed with San Jose State University after recently visiting the Spartans. The guard who started his college career at Midland College (TX) hails from Gary, Ind.
Jones averaged 11.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists this season for the Volunteers.
