New Mexico Junior College assistant coach James Miller informed JucoJunction that power forward DeQuan Hicks has reopened his recruitment after committing to Missouri State University back in the fall.

The Racine, Wisc. native averaged 12.7 points and 7 rebounds per game this past season for the 23-9 Thunderbirds. Hicks shot 59 percent (160-271) from the floor this season.
Hicks is ranked No. 64 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. The Thunderbirds lost three times this season to eventual national champion South Plains College.
