Ribero makes his decision

Fabio Ribero at New Mexico Junior College only needed one official visit to decide to where he wanted to play next season. The Thunderbirds big man from Brazil recently took a visit to a Sun Belt Conference and decided that school was the place he wanted to be at for next season. JucoJunction has the latest on where Ribero will be heading next season in this article.
Ribero, (SO) 6-foot-10 (240) from Brazil will play at Louisiana-Monroe next season according to T-Birds head coach Jimmy Voight.

"Fabio really liked what he saw at Louisiana-Monroe. Fabio is just one of two sophomores this season for the (21-9) T-Birds," said Voight.
Fabio averaged 6.8 ppg and 8.6 rebounds this season for the T-Birds.
"Fabio has really good skills for a big man. Ribero had a solid two seasons at NMJC for coach Voight," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Ribero received interest from Cal State-Northridge, Kent State and Pepperdine before deciding on Louisiana-Monroe.
