Roland Weighing Decision
Calvin Roland, a 6-9, 245 pound center from Aiken Technical College in Aiken, S.C., is mulling an early decision.
JUCO Junction caught up with ATC Head Coach Charles Welch at a recent basketball jamboree in Georgia. If Roland opts to sign early, the three choices would be Georgia State, Austin Peay and Virginia Commonwealth.

"It's a difficult decision," Welch said. "He enjoyed all three and all three are good situations."
"He's talking with his parents and trying to get a good feel for it," Welch concluded.
Roland didn't attend the jamboree in Georgia this past weekend due to a sore achilles.
If Roland opts to sign late, it's conceivable that some high majors could come calling. The University of Georgia was one school who came in this past fall and liked Roland's potential, Welch said.
