Devonta Pollard will return to NCAA D1 basketball this fall according to East Mississippi Community College Head Coach Mark White. "Devontea will play at the University of Houston" said White.
Pollard started his career at the University of Alabama. Pollard averaged 12 ppg and 6.3 rebounds this season for the Lions. The Lions finished the season at 20-7.

Pollard shot 59% (107-180) from the floor.
DouDou Gueye will continue his college career at South Carolina State. Gueye, a center, recently visited the Orangeburg, SC campus and walked away with a scholarship offer.
Gueye averaged 2.5 ppg and 2.9 rebounds this past season for the Western Nebraska Community College Cougars. The Cougars finished the season at 18-14.
Staying in the Palmetto State Charleston Southern University has added Kris Brown to there recruiting class. Brown, a power forward from Connors State College in Warner, OK will have two years to play for CSU in the Big South Conference.
Brown played along Arizona State signee Willie Atwood at Connors State College. Brown, a Fort Worth, TX native averaged 6.1 ppg and 4.7 rebounds this season for the 23-7 Cowboys.
