Saddleback has three sign, one to go

Bill Brummell and co-Head Coach Andy Ground have Saddleback College off to a 9-2 start this season. Saddleback is led by four sophomores.
Lamont Morgan is 5-foot-10 (170) from Pomona, CA. Morgan signed early with BYU. The little general point guard also received interest from Utah. Morgan isn't much of a scorer but is a good leader for a team.

"Lamont really runs the show for us," said coach Ground.
Lamont is averaging six points on the season.
Gerard Anderson is 6-foot-7 (205) from Los Angeles. He signed with Cal State-Fullerton. Anderson is off to a hot start this year averaging 17.1 points and 6.2 rebounds.
"He is truly a great athlete, I bet he has over 40 dunks already this season," Ground commented. "Fullerton really got on him early in the summer and he felt loyal to them for there efforts."
Utah State and New Mexico were also after Anderson's services.
Tremaine Ford-Townsend is 6-foot-9 (220) from Phoenix, AZ. He only had one place on his mind. He will be attending Cal State-Northridge next season.
"Tremaine had signed with them out of high school before falling short on academics," Ground said. "Tremaine is a very skilled four man that can really shoot the ball."
On the season he's at 15.2 points and 10.2 rebounds.
Brandon James is 6-foot-7 (235) from Reseda, CA. He is getting interest from Montana State, Northern Arizona, Cal State-Bakersfield and UTEP.
"James can score in a variety of ways," Ground said. "He scores on the block and he has three-point range."
