Saints player to the Southland

Seward County Community College in Liberal, KS had a good season under head coach Bryan Zollinger. Today JucoJunction.com found out today that one Saints has signed on the dotted line for next fall.

"I'm going to Sam Houston State. I really liked the coaches and the atmosphere at Sam Houston State" said Marcus James. James 6-foot-6 wing player from Waterbury,CT just completed the last two seasons at Seward County Community College.

James visited Iona University and Sam Houston State this spring. James played in all 65 games at Seward County Community College the last two seasons. James averaged 10.7 ppg and 5.1 rebounds this season while shooting 52% (126-244) from the floor. James finished his career at 747 points and the Saints were 47-18 in his two years in the program.

James is ranked #103 in the JucoJunction Top 150.
