San Bernardino teammates sign on

The California Community College ranks have really taken some financial cuts in recent years. But plenty of talent still comes out of the state. JucoJunction found out today that two teammates have signed on with Division One schools for next fall in this article.

Orlando Brazier has signed with Lamar University in Beaumont, TX while Curtis Wilkinson will take his game to East Tennessee State University next fall. Brazier, a center, averaged 11.6 ppg and 6.4 rebounds this season while blocking 67 shots for the Wolverines of San Bernardino Valley College in Southern California. Brazier shot 51% (169-330) from the floor last season for the Wolverines. Brazier was a first-team all-Foothill Conference in both years playing for the Wolverines.

Wilkinson averaged 11.1 ppg and 7.3 rebounds this year while shooting 59% (128-217) from the floor. Wilkinson was named first team all-Foothill Conference player this past season. East Tennessee State University plays in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
