San Diego star stays in state
Cornel Williams won't have to travel far next season to play his college ball. Williams will head north to Long Beach State and new head coach Dan Monson next season.
Williams is (SO) 6-foot-6 (210) from San Diego. Cornel averaged 14.9 ppg and 7.3 rebounds this past season for San Diego City College.
"Cornel is a big time athlete that has the ability to slash to the basket and score in transition," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
