The report states that Sawyer was dismissed for "a violation of team rules."

Sawyer started 19 of the 22 games that he appeared in this season for CSI. He averaged 16.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and three assists per game for the 17-7 Golden Eagles.
Fresno State, Portland State, Florida State and Oklahoma were among the colleges recruiting Sawyer, according to CSI Asst. Coach Barret Peery.
Sawyer was Southern Idaho's leading scorer, so it will be critical for the Golden Eagles to adjust without him for their final six games of Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
As it stands right now, CSI will likely host the Region 18 Tournament next month. This year, the women's champion will determine what school hosts, and the Golden Eagle women are 16-2 in league play with six games to play.
JUCO Junction will keep you posted on Sawyer's future plans as they become clearer.
