Scouting Report: State Fair CC

New Head coach Dale Ribble at State Fair Community College has put together a solid team for this coming season. Ribble replaces Dale Kimberling who retired after last season. Ribble was a assistant coach with Drury University for five seasons before heading to Sedalia, MO this past spring. The Roadrunners have a lot of new faces in the program. JucoJunction had a chance to State Fair recently in Warrensburg, MO at Rick Ball's JUCO Jamboree.
Sanijay Watts: (SO) 6-foot-5 (220) from St. Louis, MO. Watts transferred in from Cowley College (KS). Sanijay averaged 12 ppg last season while gathering all-conference honors in the Jayhawk East Conference.

"Sanjay is an undersized post player who can really pin and seal extremely well. Watts is best suited at the power forward position with his uncanny way of scoring down in the low post," said JucoJunction Staff Member
Shasta Scott: (FR) 6-foot-1 (175) from Atlanta, GA. Scott attended classes at Howard College (TX) and Chattahochee Valley Community College in Alabama for classes last season. Scott still has fours years to play basketball in college.
"Shasta is a very good shooting guard who plays with a lot of confidence on the floor. He really plays with a great knowledge of the game and had five three-pointers in one game" said Swanson.
Scott will need 2 years at State Fair Community College according to Head coach Ribble.
Dijon Smith: (FR) 6-foot-8 (200) from Omaha, NE.
"Smith is one of the best freshmen I have seen this fall. Dijon is 4/5 man that is extremely long with great hands. Smith finished everything around the rim and has a tremendously long wingspan," said Swanson.
Look for the Roadrunners to make some noise and surprise some teams this season in the Missouri Region.
