Scouting special: Wabash guards impress

The Charlotte 49'ers head coach Bobby Lutz is one of the top evaluators of juco talent in Division One basketball. Once again, the 49'ers have hit paydirt.
Charlotte has a comittment from Carlos Williams, a 6-foot-1 190-pound point guard from Wabash Valley College. The Louisville, KY native put on quite a show at Mullens' All-Star Review.

Williams, who has very good upper body strength, is a scoring point guard. He can really shoot the ball well from three-point land. He also uses his quickness to penetrate and create oppotunities for others.
Wabash Valley head coach Toby Madison may have the best backcourt in the country with Williams and Kevin Bridgewaters. Bridgewaters is a 5 foot-10 180-pound point guard from Columbia, KY.
With two possible Division One point guards on his roster, Madison hopes to lead Wabash Valley to the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, KS. JucoJunction will follow the Warriors' progress throughout the year.
JucoJunction will continue to follow junior college recruiting across the land. To talk about this story with other juco hoops fans, check out the JucoJunction Board or our premium forum.
