SEC bound

D'Montre Edwards is from Charleston, S.C. and is currently in his second season at Brevard Community College in Florida for head coach Jeremy Shulman. Edwards played high school ball at West Ashley High School and played AAU ball with TMP (Trade Mark Properties).

Edwards will take his third official visit this coming weekend to the University of Tennessee according to Shulman. D'Montre will visit visit Texas A&M the following weekend in College Station, Tex. Texas A&M has current Charleston, S.C. resident Kris Middleton on the roster and just like Edwards, Middleton played on TMP also during his high school days.
Edwards visited Georgia State University and the College of Charleston earlier this spring. Edwards, who played this summer at Jerry Mullen's JUCO Top 100, averaged 15.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game last season for Brevard Community College.
