JJ Nganga visited Liberty, Fresno State, Nevada and New Mexico according to Northern Oklahoma College - Tonkawa Head Coach Donnie Jackson.
"JJ has committed to the University of New Mexico for next season" said Jackson.

"Nganga is a vocal center with a strong body that has really good footwork. JJ can also step-out and hit the three ball on occasion" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Nganga, originally from France, averaged 5.8 ppg and 5.3 rebounds for the Mavericks this season. The Mavericks finished the season at 18-14 under first year coach Jackson.
