O'Brien said that UTEP has also expressed interest in Sottos. The Miners are the odds on favorite to land Sottos' teammate, Filiberto Rivera this spring.
Along with Rivera and freshman Kelvin Pena, Sottos was part of a deadly three headed guard attack for Southeastern in 2002-2003.
Sottos led the Blackhawks in scoring this season, averaging 16.5 points while converting 41 percent of his three point attempts.
Sottos is still open this spring, and JUCO Junction will keep you abreast of any new wrinkles in his recruitment. Stay tuned!
