Shawnee Community College Saints

The Saints of Shawnee Community College in Ullin, I.L. are looking to make some noise this season. The Saints finished 19-10 last season and return eight players back from last season's squad. Read more about the Saints in this article.
Deantra Scott will look to lead the charge this season for the Saints after leading the team in pretty much every stat category last season. Scott, a 6-foot-4 wing from Gosnell, A.R., has received some early interest from some Ohio Valley Conference schools such as Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri State according to Saints Head Coach John Sparks.

"Deantra is a bigtime wing player that just does it all on both ends of the floor," said Sparks. Scott averaged 12.4 points, 7.5 rebounds per game and shot 58 percent (113-196) from the floor last season for the Saints.
Chris Price is the floor general for the Saints. Price, a point guard from Memphis, T.N., plays at a very steady pace and with good poise on the floor. Price averaged 6.5 points and 3 assists per game last season.
Tim Coleman, a 6-foot-10 freshman from Memphis, T.N., is an academic qualifier and can leave after one season with the Saints. "Coleman needs to get bigger and stronger but the tools are all there for him to do that," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. Coleman played with the Generation X AAU basketball club before heading off to Ullin this past fall.
