Sheridan star makes his decision

The Sheridan College Generals will be hosting the Region IX Basketball Tourney starting today in Sheridan,WY. The Generals will open up with Western Wyoming Community College tonight at 8 p.m. The Generals are currently 23-6 on the season. JucoJunction found out today that one Generals player has chosen a school for next season and has the full story.
JR Cadot is nearing the end of his junior college career at Sheridan College with the hopes of getting his Generals team to Hutchinson, KS later this month and the NJCAA National Tourney. Cadot prepped at Eldon Academy in Michigan before landing at Sheridan College. Cadot is currently averaging 16.5 ppg, 7.5 rebounds and 2.4 steals while shooting a 63% (165-261) from the floor. Cadot has scored 791 career points in his career at Sheridan College.

Cadot played this past summer at Jerry Mullens JUCO 120 Camp in Tulsa, OK. Cadot will play next season at Texas Christian University in the WAC Conference. JR now joins teammate Antoine Proctor who will attend Sacramento State in the fall.
"JR is a explosive athlete who really excels in the open court," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Cadot received interest from Northern Illinois, Utah State and Utah this season before deciding on the Horned Frogs. The Generals will look to take their number one seed into play tonight in Sheridan, WY and a berth in Hutch on the line this weekend.
