Keynan Pittman grew up in a small community just north of Wilmington, N.C. in Burgaw County. Pittman played high school basketball at Pender County High School for Head Coach Gary Battle.

The transfer from James Madison University is now attending East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Miss. this coming fall. Pittman will be able to leave the Lions after just one season and have three years to play at the NCAA Division One level.
Pittman had early interest this spring from LSU, Mississippi State, Southern Mississippi and Louisiana Tech according to Lions Head Coach Mark White. Louisiana Tech has offered Pittman according to White.
Pittman played high school basketball with Brevard Community College Addison Spruill.
