Sooners strike in Scenic West
College of Eastern Utah Head Coach Chris Craig has one more kid he would like to add to the mix for next fall. The Golden Eagles Head Coach informed JucoJunction today that one of his remaining sophomores has found a home in the Big 12 Conference next fall.
"Nick Thompson will play at the University of Oklahoma next season," said Craig.

Thompson, 6-foot-9, averaged 8.6 ppg and 4.4 rebounds this year for the Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles finished in 3rd place in the NJCAA National Tourney last month and 27-10 on the season.
"Nick is a very skilled four man that can shoot the ball or even put it on the deck," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Thompson received alot of interest this spring. He visited Utah, New Mexico and Oklahoma according to Craig. Iowa State, Colorado and Utah State also showed interest in the skilled power forward.
