"Demetrice Jacobs has signed with Northwestern State University of the Southland Conference for next season," said Missouri State University-West Plains Assistant Coach Damon Francis. Jacobs is ranked No. 80 in the 2011 JucoJunction Top 150.

The New York City native averaged 14.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game this season for the Grizzlies. The versatile guard shot 56.7 percent (152-268) from the floor this past season.
