South Carolina product headed back home

Brandon Smalls decided he wanted to come back to the Palmetto state of South Carolina and get some of that fresh sweet tea the state is known for. JucoJunction talked to Smalls last night after he decided to end his recruitment and attend South Carolina State University next season in Orangeburg, SC.
Smalls, (SO) 6-foot-5 from North Charleston, SC is currently at Harcum College in Philadelphia, PA. Brandon his freshman season at Navarro College in Texas a few years back. He attended Coastal Christian Academy in Norfolk, VA after leaving high school for

two seasons.
"I took an unofficial visit over the Christmas holiday and I have been on the campus before. I have friends from high school who attend South Carolina State along with my little sister. I really like the idea of having a chance to play forty minutes from home and to
play in the MEAC Conference for coach Tim Carter at South Carolina State," said Smalls.
Brandon is currently averaging 18.1 ppg, 5.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2 steals for Harcum College. Harcum College is currently (15-1) on the season in the NJCAA D2 poll and currently ranked Bears. Smalls recently scored 28 points for the Bears with a win over Mercer County CC (NJ).
Smalls enrolled in Harcum College back in January 2007 as a student. Morehead State, Longwood, Robert Morris, St Francis (PA),Utah State all expressed interest in Smalls before deciding on being a South Carolina State Bulldog.
