South Florida Picks Up Second JC Guard

Bradley Mosley, an offensive minded 6-1, 180 pound point/combo guard from Daytona Beach C.C. in Daytona Beach, Fla., has signed a national letter of intent with South Florida.
JUCO Junction confirmed this information with DBCC Head Coach Frank Burnell.

Burnell told JUCO Junction that Mosley took official visits this spring to USF, Arkansas Little Rock and Central Florida before casting his lot with the Bulls. UMass, Pittsburgh and Illinois State were among the schools that came in late on Mosley.
He's the second junior college guard to ink this month with South Florida. Earlier this month, the Bulls picked up 6-2 Schoolcraft (MI) scorer deluxe James Holmes.
"The league and the proximity to home were the big factors," Burnell said. "He's a Florida kid from Palm Beach County."
Mosley averaged 19 points and five rebounds per game this past season for the Falcons, earning all-conference honors.
"He's going to be a solid player for South Florida," Burnell added. "He shoots the ball well and provides leadership, but he's a quiet kid who leads by example."
Mosley was definitely one of the better available floor generals in the JC ranks this spring. JUCO Junction has had the opportunity to watch him in action the past two years at the Florida JUCO Shootout.
Mosley can create off the dribble, and is effective playing either on or off the ball. He had to do a lot of both this past season at Daytona Beach, which struggled in the Mid-Florida Conference and failed to qualify for the state tournament at Chipola J.C.
Mosley's addition should help buffer the loss of fall signee Ricardo Freeman, who was recently granted a release from his NLI with USF.
