South Plains prospect to the Sun Belt

JucoJunction was in Dallas, TX a few weeks back at the Mitchell/Mullen Dallas Blowout. South Plains College was one of the many programs in attendance at the event. The South Plains College Texans won the NJCAA National Championship last year in Hutchinson and this weekend one Texan decided to end his recruitment before the start of the season.

Hugh Mingo, a (SO) 6-foot-1 (188) off guard from West Monroe, LA, has committed to the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Mingo had signed with ULM out of high school but failed to qualify academically. Mingo is one of five returning Texans from last year's national championship team.
