Southern Illinois adds fourth juco commit

Mamadou Seck won't have to travel to far next season to play his college basketball. JucoJunction found out today that #11 ranked player in the JucoJunction Top 150 has signed. Find out where Seck is heading in this article.
Seck will play for the Salukis of Southern Illinois University. Seck will join fellow teammate Troy Long next season in Carbondale. Seck played the past two years for Southeastern Illinois College gead coach Todd Franklin.

Seck helped get the Falcons to the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, KS this past March.
Seck averaged 15.4 ppg and 9.7 rebounds this past year for the Falcons. Seck shot 53% from the floor. Seck visited Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this spring along with Southern Illinois. He will join Ernest "Stretch" Watson and Mykel Cleveland in the recruiting class from the junior college ranks for the Salukis. Three of the Salukis recruits played in Region 24 in the GRAC Conference.
