Southern Miss hits juco ranks again

The University of Southern Mississippi has really worked the junior college ranks the last few seasons. The Golden Eagles yesterday signed another player from the junior college ranks and JucoJunction has the latest on this signing in this article.
"Carrington Tankson has signed with Southern Mississippi," according to San Jacinto College assistant coach Scott Gernander, Jr.

Tankson, a Brooklyn Park, MN native, averaged 11.8 ppg, 3 rebounds and 2.3 assists last season as a freshman for the Ravens.
"Carrington is a shooting guard who likes to stalk the baseline," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Tankson played AAU ball with the Howard Pulley basketball program based out of Minneapolis. Tankson has the Ravens off to a 5-0 start this season while averaging 11.5 ppg. The Ravens play in the rugged Eastern Texas Division with the likes of Paris, Tyler, Navarro, Lon Morris and Trinity Valley.
