Starks Focusing on Midwest Trio

Corey Starks, the 6-4, 195 pound swingman from Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., has focused on a trio of Midwestern colleges this spring.
JUCO Junction spoke with Chaffey Head Coach Jeff Klein on Wednesday, and he informed us that Starks is taking an official visit to UMKC this weekend (May 9-11).

Previously, Starks visited Creighton last month, and is also hearing from Central Michigan.
Klein said he expects Starks to pick from among the three schools.
Starks was impressive when JUCO Junction caught him in action back at the Rio Hondo Tournament in December.
A well built small forward/big guard, Starks can put the ball on the deck, get to the hole and finish or draw fouls. He's also a decent rebounder who is most effective as a catch and shoot three point threat.
Starks plans on making a spring decision, and JUCO Junction will keep you posted until he makes a decision. Stay tuned.
