State Fair prospect to UNC-Asheville

Andrew Lomond, (SO) 6-foot-8 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada has signed on with UNC-Asheville for next season.

Lomond played this past year at State Fair CC in Sedalia, MO. Andrew started his college career at Florida Atlantic back in the 2004-2005 season where he played in four games. Lomond averaged 3.4 ppg and 3 rebounds this season past season for the Roadrunners. Andrew scored 15 points versus Moberly Area CC this season for his season high.

He has great size and great athletic ability to score inside and out. Andrew's toughness and workman-like attitude will help guide us in the seasons to come," said UNC-Asheville Associate Head coach Thomas Nash.
