A packed house was in attendance tonight on the campus of USC-Salkehatchie in Walterboro, S.C. USC-Salkehatchie is playing longtime region foe Spartanburg Methodist College.

The Pioneers come into the game at 25-0 and the new ranked number one team in the country in the NJCAA Division One poll. The Indians took a 30-24 lead into halftime with both teams not playing very well tonight.
With the game tied at 55-55 at the end of the regulation. The Pioneers end up prevailing behind Jalen Nesbitt with 31 points and 14 rebounds in the victory. The Pioneers move to 26-0
on the season.
The Pioneers will return next month to the USC Salkehatchie campus in Walterboro, S.C., when the Indians will be the Region 10 Tourney host this season. Region 10 will have two teams guaranteed in the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, Kan., this season under the new format.
