Staying away from home

"Dijon Farr has signed with the University of Utah," said Indian Hills community College Assistant Coach Nathan Courtney. The native of South Carolina has played the past two seasons for the Warriors in Ottumwa,IA.

The all-Region performer this season averaged 9.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 48 percent(119-249) from the floor. Farr visited the Salt Lake City campus this past weekend and walked away with a scholarship offer.
Farr is ranked No.100 in the JucoJunction Top 150 for 2011. Farr now joins teammate Jerome Jones who signed with SIU-Edwardsville, as signees. Farr visited SE Missouri State earlier this spring before deciding on the Utes today.
Farr prepped at Broome High School in the Upstate of South Carolina.
