Staying close to home
"Ja'Christian Biles has committed to the University of Detroit" said Schoolcraft College Assistant Coach Corey McKendry.
Biles, an academic qualifier coming out of high school, will have two seasons to play for Detroit when he arrives next fall.

Biles, a shooting guard, came to the attention of JucoJunction last March at the NJCAA D2 National Tourney in Danville, IL.
Biles averaged 14.6 ppg and 4.8 rebounds last season for the Ocelots. The Ocelots finished the season at 31-5 and 2-2 at the NJCAA National Tourney.
Biles is an Oak Park, MI native. He shot 48% (201-415) from the floor last season and 40% (76-192) from three point range.
