Ty Nurse wont have to travel far out of West Texas next season to play his college ball. Nurse a Vancouver, British Columbia Canada native made his decision today on where he will be headed next fall in this article right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
"Ty Nurse is headed off to Texas Tech University next season," said Midland College Head coach Ross Hodge. Nurse averaged 9.1 points and 3 assists per game this season for the national runner-up champions Chaps.

"Ty is a solid point guard who makes good decisions, makes simple plays and doesn't turn the ball over," said Hodge. Nurse is ranked number 86 in the JucoJunction Top 150 this season.
The Chaps were 63-7 over the past two seasons with Nurse. "Ty is a high character and a better person," said Hodge.
The Chaps will have to fill out a lot of roster spots next season after being hit with the graduation bug.
