Waverly Austin has decided to play at the University of South Florida next season. Austin is currently in his sophomore campaign at Palm Beach State College in Florida for head coach Butch Estes.

Austin signed with South Florida out of prep school when he was at the Heat Academy in Martinsville, V.A. Austin made some other stops in prep school at Progressive Christian in Maryland and God's Academy in Texas before landing in junior college.
The Fredericksburg, V.A. native played this summer at Jerry Mullen's JUCO Camp on the campus of Lindenwood University in St Charles, Mo. Austin averaged 18.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game last season for Palm Beach State College.
The Bulls had a great week in landing Austin and guard Musa Abdul-Aleem from Georgia Perimeter College from the junior college ranks.
