Daquan Brown will travel up from Barstow College to Fresno State University in the Central Valley part of California next season to play for the Bulldogs. The New York City native averaged 11.7 points and 9.6 rebounds per game this season for the Vikings.

Brown is ranked No.89 in the JucoJunction Top 150 for 2011. He visited the Bulldogs and new head coach Rodney Terry this past weekend. Brown scored 646 points and grabbed 473 rebounds in his two year career in 54 games played at Barstow College.
The Vikings, coached by Reggie Howard - a former division one assistant coach, were 22-6 on the season. Brown now joins teammate LaVanne Pennington who signed with San Jose State this signing period.
