In addition to Western Nebraska's Roberto Segantim (profiled elsewhere in an article on this site), the Lumberjacks have inked 6-8 Henry Rivers of Southeast C.C. in Beatrice, Neb.; 5-10 point guard Leonard Brown of Jacksonville J.C. in Jacksonville, Tex; and 6-0 point guard Tim Simon of Navarro J.C. in Corsicana, Tex.
Rivers averaged 13.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game as a sophomore, earning all-conference, all-region and Region 9 All-Tournament team honors.
His signing is chronicled here at the official SFA athletic website.
Brown averaged 10.2 points and 6.5 assists per game for Jacksonville, earning honorable mention All-Region honors.
This will be the second time around for Simon at Stephen F. Austin. He attended the Southland Conference school as a freshman in 2001-2002 before bouncing to Navarro for his sophomore season.
He averaged seven points and 7.3 assists per game at Navarro in 2002-2003.
Brown and Simon's signings were announced by the school at this link.
All four junior college transfers will have two years of eligibility remaining at SFA.
