JucoJunction had a chance to see the Raiders recently at the Johnson County Jamboree in Overland Park, MO.
The Raiders will be led this season by sophomore Justas Furmanavicius. Furmanavicius, an Ole Miss commit, hails from Lithuania.
Furmanavicius is a high energy forward. He averaged 11 ppg and 7.8 rebounds last season. The Raiders finished last at 23-9.
Freshmen Gabe Grant, Terrence Parker and Kavion Pippen should see quality minutes this season for the Raiders.
Grant, a power forward, hails from Chicago, IL. Grant prepped at Midwest Prep and FCI (FL) last season. "Gabe is a mismatch tweener type player who has the ability to play inside-out" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Parker, a post player, played at the Beddingfield School in Wilson, NC. "Terrence is long and athletic and moves very well for his size" said Swanson.
Pippen, a Hamburg, AR native, is the nephew of legendary NBA player Scottie Pippen.
